ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Calvin Hollins is an entrepreneur from the South Side of Chicago with over 35 years of experience owning some of the city's hottest nightclubs. Not only did Calvin run these renowned venues, but he also played a pivotal role in shaping the iconic image of Mr. T. Calvin discovered Mr. T on the streets of Chicago, gave him a job as a bouncer at his club, Dingbats, and created his signature look—including his hairstyle, gold chains, and larger-than-life persona.
Calvin also had a close, 35-year relationship with Mike Tyson, who is the godfather to Calvin's daughter. Tyson trusted Calvin deeply, appointing him as his personal manager during his incarceration for rape in 1992. No one could visit Mike in prison without Calvin's approval. For over two decades, Calvin served as Tyson's personal friend and manager, cementing his place in the boxer's inner circle.
